...Barely tolerable, I daresay...

Hey, whodathunk it? I finally got my referral to the hand specialist and have an appointment on June 18th. He's an actual certified hand specialist instead of the general orthopedist the base was going to send me to. I have hopes that this guy will do more than poke on a tendon or two and then give a shot of cortisone and say, there ya go.  I'm not expecting a quick fix or even a complete fix, but I would like to know what's going on and if there's something else I can do to make life easier.  I'd also like to know if it is a progressive problem like arthritis, over use problem like tendinitis, or chronic thing like fibromyalgia. 

Speaking of hands, I'd better go take my anti-inflammatory med before I forget.
