...Barely tolerable, I daresay...

I actually did leave the house.  But only because I had an alarm go off on my PDA reminding me that I had an appt with the massage therapist today.  As I still have a killer headache and various aches and pains from Period Hell, I figured it would be OK for me to to go. 

Then, I'm still having a Caribbean food craving, so I stopped at Vallarta to get some ingredients that aren't in Albertson's.  This time, we're going to make stew chicken, another recipe for peas and rice and then have another go at fried plantain.  We were supposed to embark on this culinary adventure when I got home, but by then, I felt like shit from low blood sugar and a return of the headache.  Can you have low blood sugar and be at least 40 lbs overweight?  I don't think it works that way, but I know if I don't eat regularly/get too hungry, I get mean headaches, and feel like crap. 

I also did some other shopping which I said I wouldn't do.  But...  Does it count if I bought online, they were books for my PDA and they were for me?  *shrug*  LOL

The amber I bought last week arrived while I was out.  Columbian amber with fossilized insect inclusions.  Very cool stuff.  I've always wanted my very own bug in amber and I finally found a reputable place to get it and not pay a fortune.  If you want to see cool pics, go to AmbericaWest
