...Barely tolerable, I daresay...

I finally had my appt with my doc to see if they'd send me to a hand specialist since PT didn't work out.  He seemed totally cool with it and put in the referral for that along with a request for an MRI of said hand.  I mentioned that the Mobic I've been taking isn't doing much for the pain and inflammation and that's getting pretty irritating.  I mean, why am I taking a med that can increase my risk of heart attack if it's not doing anything for inflammation, much less pain?  Now I've started taking Clinoril and it seems to have taken quite a bit of pain away in just the first dose.  Yeah, it has to be taken twice a day, but at least it's doing something.  Hot damn, I can move my pinkie w/out pain!  The thumb is still stiff and sore, but not as bad as it was.

Can you believe there were tornadoes spotted in CA today?  Wild weather in the Inland Empire area of LA today.  We just don't DO tornadoes in LA!  Keep an eye out for other weird stuff at this rate.
